Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Sittipunt, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, presided over the opening ceremony and welcomed delegates from the Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2025 (PMAC 2025) on their field visit to Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Medicine and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
The visit was held under the theme:
“The Role of UHC in Strengthening Public Health and Fueling Local Innovation for Economic Growth: Thailands Model.”
The session provided insights into how Thailand integrates research into policymaking, incorporates medical innovations into the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) scheme, and applies advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), genomics, and digital health solutions to enhance healthcare accessibility, disease screening, prevention, and treatment.
