Introduction 
        Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences (Ph.D. (Medical Sciences)) is a thesis-based program offered by pre-clinical Departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University (CU). It is managed and administered by the Graduate Affairs of the faculty. Established in 2009, this program is an integration of medical sciences, which proposes to produce academicians and researchers for the society and to be widely accepted nationally and internationally. Currently, various fields of study are provided as follows: Applied and Clinical Anatomy; Cell Biology and Human Molecular Genetics; Neurosciences; Parasitology and Tropical Medicine; Pathology; Molecular Pharmacology and Advanced Therapeutics; Medical Physiology; Applied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine; Forensic Sciences; Clinical Pathology; Sports and Exercise Medicine; One Health; and Microbiology and Immunology. 

Philosophy:
         The program is designed in concurrence with emerging of new knowledges in medical sciences. Principles of outcome-based together with research-based focus on medical sciences which are multi-disciplinary based rather than subject based as well as ethical consideration are utilized to achieve program goals. Medical sciences program aims to produce high quality academicians and multi-disciplinary researchers for society and to be accepted nationally and internationally.

         Role model of medical sciences program with virtue and ability to set international standards.

Mission:
        1. To produce high quality graduates, possess the knowledge, skills and attitude which meet international standards and transfer knowledge to serve society.
        2. To produce in-depth innovative research works with international standards in different branches of medical sciences including Applied and Clinical Anatomy, Cell Biology and Human Molecular Genetics, Neurosciences, Parasitology and Tropical Medicine, Pathology, Molecular Pharmacology and Advanced Therapeutics, Medical Physiology, Applied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, Forensic Sciences, Clinical Pathology, Sports and Exercise Medicine, One Health, and Microbiology and Immunology.
