Application Procedure
Applicants must download and complete the application form, attach the following supporting documents, and submit them to the Graduate Affairs Office within the designated application period:
- Completed application form
- Official cumulative grade point average (GPAX) transcript
- Valid English language proficiency test score report
Application Period
Round 1: July of each year
Round 2: December of each year
Qualifications
1. Newly admitted doctoral students
Applicants must:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher from their previous master degree institution; and
- Meet one of the following English language proficiency requirements:
- IELTS: 5.5 or above, or
- CU-TEP: 67 or above, or
- TOEFL (Paper-based): 525 or above, or
- An equivalent score in TOEFL Computer-based, TOEFL Internet-based (iBT), or TOEFL ITP.
The English language test result must have been issued within two years prior to the score report date.
2. Newly admitted master students
Applicants must:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher from their previous bachelor degree institution; and
- Meet one of the following English language proficiency requirements:
- IELTS: 4.0 or above, or
- CU-TEP: 45 or above, or
- TOEFL (Paper-based): 450 or above, or
- An equivalent score in TOEFL Computer-based, TOEFL Internet-based (iBT), or TOEFL ITP.
The English language test result must have been issued within two years prior to the score report date.
3. Current graduate students
Applicants must be:
- Doctoral students in their second year or above, or
- Master students in their second year,
and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher in the relevant academic year.
Scholarship Support and Duration
- Master students: Tuition fee support for up to two academic years.
- Doctoral students: Tuition fee support for up to three academic years.
